1.1 Specification
The Samsung Galaxy Spica uses a ARM CPU running at 800 MHz. It has a 320 x 480 pixel 3.2″ screen.

1.2 Plain CPU Tests (no timer)
The 800 MHz CPU is about 25% faster than the 530 MHz devices. I’ve expected a little bit more than that.

1.3 Timed Tests
Screen upates are done about 40% faster than the 530 MHz devices. Way better than the iPhone 3G but still 2.5 times slower than the 3GS.

1.4 Conclusion
The Spica uses an underpowered CPU – if they release an update that shifts the CPU power up to 1GHz the Spica could be the fastest of all tested Android devices. With the default 800 MHz it’s way ahead of the Magic/Dreams but significant slower than other devices.
