The HTC Hero uses a Qualcomm MSM 7200A running at 528 MHz. It has a 320 x 480 pixel 3.2″ screen.
1.2 Plain CPU Tests (no timer)
The Hero is about 10% faster than the other Android devices (HTC Magic, G1) with a 528 MHz processor.
1.3 Timed Tests
During the timer() used tests the Hero is about 30% faster than the other Android devices.
1.4 Conclusion
Fastest ’1st generation’ Android device. Comparable with the iPhone 3G, but still too slow for heavy screen updates or sprite movements.
Does anyone know which type of video recordsdata are supported? I remember the Instinct solely could dl 3gp using opera mini. I downloaded the twist ap, perhaps that’s the issue? How can I watch videos from websites aside from youtube? Which file types? Often I’m given the choice of 3gp or mpeg4. Cannot get both to work. Thank you on your time! Damn I wish I was eligible for the upgrade to EVO!
